Lauren Greenfield:

        

Lauren Greenfield is an American artist, documentary photographer, and documentary filmmaker. She has published four photographic monographs, directed four documentary features, produced four traveling exhibitions, and published in magazines throughout the world.

Whilst Henri Cartier Bresson's work has a vintage feel, Lauren Greenfield explores contemporary photography styles. HCB takes formal elements such as Line, Texture and Pattern into account, as well as his composition. The main difference between the photographers work being colour, as Lauren Greenfield's work is very vibrant - perhaps reflecting her young subjects. Both HBC and Lauren Greenfield have captured the Decisive moment in their work in order to create their documentary photographs. Greenfield explores the issues with and the culture of teenage girls.

Annie Leibovitz

Annie Leibovitz is an American portrait photographer. She photographed John Lennon on the day he was assassinated, and her work has been used on numerous album covers and magazines. She became the first woman to hold an exhibition at Washington's National Portrait Gallery in 1991.
