I think that these photos were successful and have turned out well due to having the right exposure on my camera. There is a good amount of light in the frame which makes the colours vibrant. The shutter speed which I have used, 1/250", has ensured that the pictures I took were in focus.
I chose not to use any of the other pictures taken due to the background. The brown fence is far more simplistic and works with the edits of flames than the leaves would have. These images were taken using a tripod and the subject was always at the same distance away. This makes it simpler to line up the flames during the editing process with the model. I also don't believe that using the flower as a prop added anything to the photos and so I won't edit them into my final images.
