landscape
Landscape Photography:
Landscape: Landscape photography shows spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. Landscape photographs typically capture the presence of nature but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes.
Depth of Field: The amount of the photo that is in focus. Shallow depth of field = F//2.8, wide depth of field = F//22+. Having a bigger depth of field makes an image more interesting.
F-Stop: The f-stop regulates the amount of light that can pass through a lens. Also known as aperture. F//16-22 is recommended.
Additional equipment that may help a photographer capture a landscape can include: Tripod, Photographic Filter, Light Meter.
The zone system is used to identify the different tones in a black and white image, created by Ansel Adams. The zone system is important because it

Artist Research: Stephan Shore
Stephan Shore born October 8 1947, is an American photographer known best for his work in Landscape and Colour. He was the first living photographer to be exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where he had a solo show of colour photographs. In 1976 he had a solo exhibition of colour photographs at the Museum of Modern Art there. In 2010 he received an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal Photographic Society. I chose to study this photographer because I can explore this type of landscape around my area.

Best Photos:
I think that these pictures turned out well due to the composition of them. The different compositions allowed me to capture different perspectives of usually quite boring scenes to make them interesting and appealing. They also reflect the style of my chosen photographer's work in Landscapes.
Pictures to improve:
If I were to reshoot these photographs, I would change the composition of these shots as I do not feel they portray the landscape scene in an interesting way. I may also adjust the aperture as I feel that these shots are slightly over exposed.
My Edits:
Editing Process:
The editing process was the same for all of my images as I wanted to have the series all look the same and to tie together.
